Dorothy Louise Cooper Bryant, 86 of Troy, died at Troy Regional Medical Center, Monday, Oct. 1, 2007.

Visitation will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2007, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at Dillard Funeral Home Chapel in Troy on Thursday, Oct. 4, 2007, at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Lawson Bryan officiating.

Burial will follow at Pea River Cemetery in Clio with Dillard Funeral Home of Troy directing.

Mrs. Bryant is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Al Shipman of Troy; son and daughter-in-law, Reggie and Tina Bryant of Fairhope; grandchildren, Brandi Elizabeth Henderson of Troy, Sarah Grace Bryant of Fairhope, Natalie Bryant of Fairhope, and Justin Henderson of Troy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elms and Sally Cooper, and eight brothers and sisters.

The family request that in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Children of the World, 811A Fairhope Avenue, Fairhope, AL 36532.

She is survived by her sons, Acie Nathaniel (Lacy) Rainwater of Poplarville, Ms., Blake Jackson Rainwater of Tyler, grandson, Acie Nathaniel Rainwater, Jr. of Poplarville, Ms., mother, Geneva Atchison of Selma, sisters, Jackie (Mike) Norris, Tammy (John) Moore, brother, Jody (Beth) Atchison, nieces and nephews, Tony Norris, Chad Norris, Misty Mellett, Coba Atchison, Casey Atchison, Summer Posey, Clinton Atchison, Christopher Atchison, great nieces and nephews, Ariel Wilson, Lauren Norris, Chad Norris, Jr. Sarah Clay Norris, Riley Norris Mellett. She is also survived by her fiance, Jimmy Parker. She was preceded in death by her father, Jack Atchison, and brother, Bryant Atchison. Serving as pallbearers will be Nathaniel Rainwater, Blake Rainwater, Justin Lynn, Matt Lovelady, Chad Norris.

The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 2, 2007, at the funeral home.
