Leona Evelyn Hicks

Leona Evelyn Hicks, age 90, a resident of Camden, Ala., passed away Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2007.

Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 28, 2007, at 11 a.m. at Gullets Bluff Baptist Church, with the Rev. Jimmy Hicks, the Rev. Tommy Hicks, and the Rev. Reid Nettles officiating.

Burial followed at Reeves Chapel Cemetery. Family received friends Friday from 10-11 a.m. prior to service.

Mrs. Hicks was survived by children; Laura Ellen Hicks Harris of Selma, the Rev. Willie (Mary Frances) Martin Hicks Jr. of Coy, Ala., Glenn (Suzanne Morrison) Marcus Hicks of Monroeville, Ala.; eight grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; sisters, Eloise Pharr Zurga of Coy, Clara Pharr Geck of Coy; brothers, Claud E. Pharr of Pine Hill, Raymond J. Pharr of Excel; numerous nieces and nephews.
