Lillian E. Reeves

Lillian Reeves, age 83, of Selma died Friday, Aug. 17, 2007. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 20, 2007, at New Live Oak Cemetery with the Rev. Micha Gandy officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Directing.

Mrs. Reeves is survived by her sons; James N. Reeves Jr., John R. Reeves and Jeff L. Reeves. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Mariam B. Frith

Mariam B. Frith, age 80, of Longwood, Fla., passed away Thursday, Aug. 16, 2007. She was born Feb. 2, 1927, in Selma, Ala., to Harry K. and Mary F. Brown. She moved to Central Florida in 1992.

She was a homemaker and a member of Forest Lake Seventh Day Adventist Church, Apopka, Fla. Mrs. Frith is survived by her son Roy K. Frith, Jr. of McIntosh, Fla.; daughters Karen Emde of Apopka, Fla., and Tanya McClellan of Longwood, Fla.; brothers Douglas Brown of Columbus, Wis., Ted Brown and Ken Brown both of New Port Richey, Fla.; sister June Thompson of Ak.; five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
