Paul Lamar Frith

Paul Lamar Frith, 79, of Selma passed away Friday, July 27, 2007 at his residence.

Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Monday, July 30 at Selma Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home Tuesday, July 31,

2007, at 10 a.m., officiated by Dr. Kenny Hatcher and directed by Selma Funeral Home.

Mr. Frith is survived by his wife of 57 years Joy; sons, Andrew (Beverly) Frith, and daughters Carol Councill of Dallas, Texas, Linda Joy (Chris) Bailey of Attalla, and Paula (Tom) Clements of Lynn Haven, Fla., grandchildren, Aaron Smith, Apex, N.C., Andrew Davis Bailey, and Forrest Bailey, of Attalla.

He was preceded in death by his father, Albert B. Frith, mother, Ida Barrett Frith and son, William Perry Frith.

Serving as pallbearers will be Gary Maluda, Darran Frith, John Clibrey, Dale Martin, Steve Martin, Alvis Frith, Alan Wimberley and Tony Frith.

Carol Wayne Harris

Mrs. Carol Wayne Harris, age 60, died Sunday, July 29, 2007, at Bryan W. Whitfield Memorial Hospital after an extended illness.

Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 31, 2007, at Kidd-Robbins Funeral Home Chapel with Justin Paschall officiating. Interment will follow at Demopolis Memorial Gardens with Kidd-Robbins Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

The Harris family will receive friends at the funeral home, Tuesday from 1 p.m. until the service time.

Carol’s parents, Charles McCarty Sr. and Ruth Johnson McCarty; two brothers, Charles McCarthy Jr. and Paul McCarty preceded her in death.

Survivors include her loving husband of 38 years, John. E. Harris of Demopolis.

Two sons, John W. Harris of Decatur and

Richard C. (Valerie) Harris of Huntsville.

Two grandchildren, Ellen R. Harris and Ryan C. Harris both of Huntsville.

Three nephews.

Pallbearers will be Freddy Lawrence, Walter Davie, Hess Wright, Austin Lindsey, Ken Sherwood and Daniel Webb.

Carol was born in Selma, lived in Demopolis for thirty years and was a member of Canal Heights Church of Christ in Demopolis.
