Mrs. Lillian Freeman
Mrs. Lillian Freeman, age 81, of Greenville, Alabama, formerly of Demopolis, Alabama passed July 16, 2007 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital, Demopolis, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, July 24, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at the Morning Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama.
Rev. James Dunn is the pastor. Rev. Michael Foster will officiate.
Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama.
The remains will repose at church beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
Public viewing will be held Monday from 1-6 p.m. at the funeral home.
Lorene Waites Galloway
Lorene Waites Galloway, age 89, passed away Sunday, July 22, 2007.
Mrs. Galloway is survived by her husband, Jack Galloway; sons, James Donald (Rita) Waites and Kenneth Randy (Jamie) Waites; daughters, Jacquelyn Agee (Norm) Trotter and Gail G. Myers; brother, James (Mae) Walker; sisters, Agnes Hines, Bernice (Ernie) Young and Lois Thrasher; Grandchildren, Ricky (Jenny) Agee, Patrick (Casey) Waites, Tobby Jack
Waites, Jeffery (Suzanne) Waites, Casey Waites, Katie (Keith) Bodiford, Jenny (Sean) Gloer
and Mary Beth Clacker; great grandchildren, Shelby Agee, Alex Waites, Jeffery Waites, Jr., Jennifer Allen, Peyton Cunningham, Porter Waites, Walker Waites, Hunter Clacker, Daniel Bodiford and Alden Gloer; and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James
“Jack” Waites; brother, Percy M. Walker; sister, Ethel W. Young; and parents, Marion E. and Julia Tubbs Walker.
Mrs. Galloway was a longtime member of Elkdale Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Monday, July 23 from 6 to 8 p.m. with funeral services Tuesday, July 24 at 10:30 a.m.
in the chapel of Selma Funeral Home with Rev. Micah Gandy officiating. Interment will follow the service in Pineview Memory Gardens.
Serving as pallbearers will be Ricky Agee, Tobby Waites, Jeffery Waites, Patrick Waites, Johnny Kennedy and David Walker.
