James Daniel Mackin

James Daniel Mackin, age 64, of Selma died Saturday June 23, 2007, in a local hospital.

Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.p. Tuesday, June 26, 2007, in the Chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home officiated by the Rev. George Washburn. Mr. Mackin is survived by his wife, Sharon C. Mackin of Selma, son, Steven Earl (Miranda) Mackin of Calera, brothers, Cooper R. (Mary) Mackin, Thomas E. Mackin, John H. (Cheryl) Mackin, Steven P. (Linda) Mackin, James R. (Joy) Mackin, sisters, Cecelia M. Hughes, Janis M. (Stan) Winsett, Sylvia (Wayne) Odom, Leah (George) Washburn, numerous nieces and nephews, mother-in-law, Dorothy Compton, sister-in-law, Camille (Jimmy) Roberson, brother-in-law, Earl (Debbie) Compton.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to the American Heart Association.
