To the Editor:

Just want to say Congratulations to Calhoun Foods on their expansion and new programs!

The store has always been on my shopping list and my parents frequented it often just living down the road a bit.

One thing I have been impressed with there is their genuine care for customer service always.

And have you ever been in their store right before a major “cooking” holiday such as Christmas or Thanksgiving?

There is such a spirit of good will and expectation of things to come.

I have noticed those things on several occasions where I was doing major holiday shopping or just dashing in to take care of a last minute need which they happened to have on special.

After my Mother had her stroke and could not shop there weekly, several of the employees would ask about her when I shopped.

Thanks, Calhoun Foods, for being there for me and my family.

In fact, Calhouns is like family, and we like to see family do well!

Stop by the store and partake of good food, a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere and some good specials!
