5-6 Baseball

Willie Fletcher and Tyrone Lumpkin both went 3-for-3 with home runs in The Knights’ 15-7 victory. Ronnie Earby added three runs in the win.

Thomas Regan scored two runs for Rountree, and Briar Levins and Haysten Levins had hits.

Cosby Ice-Smitherman Brothers

Jamal Smith went 3-for-3 with a home run to help Cosby Ice win a 15-14 game.

Kaderius Underwood scored three times, and Baker King also scored.

J’Kari Vaughan hit a 3-run home run in the first inning, and Tyler Smith and Cameron Gorenflo added hits for Smitherman Brothers.

Henderson Chiropractic-Discount Tire

The first five batters in Henderson’s lineup all went 4-for-4 in the team’s 24-7 win.

Taylor Henderson hit a 3-run home run as the major blow.

Kenyon Walker homered in the fourth inning to drive in two runs for Discount Tire. Marvin White and Demarkus Smiley each had hits.

Mr. Roy’s-Elk’s Lodge 167

Four Mr. Roy’s players homered to power a 20-5 win.

Rondarius Sanders, Kendarius Perry, Eric Davis and Anthonie Reubin all went deep.

Blake Smith had two hits and scored two runs for Elk’s Lodge. Christian Jones and Keonte Davis also had hits and runs.

Moose Lodge-The Knights

Tacarius Howard hit Moose Lodge’s only home run to help take a 13-12 win.

Korby Kelly went 3-for-3, scoring two runs, and John Dubose also scored twice.

Tyrone Lumpkin hit a home run and two doubles to lead The Knights. Tyler Elliott and Romine Ellis added to the offense with hits.

People’s Bank-Exchange Club

Q’varius Rush and Dreyveon Wright hit home runs to help People’s Bank take a 16-6 win. Jaerion Marshall had multiple hits for the team.

Jakobi Fletcher had two doubles and scored two runs for Exchange Club. Darius Russell and Makevien Eaton each had hits.

Gayle’s Amoco-Carter Drug

Keonna King, Tori Shaw and Dytaria Johnson all scored three times in Gayle’s 13-4 win.

Mallory Freine scored twice, and Anna Gayle Hubbard and D’Asia Lewis scored once.

Ivey Harris and Antonyah Dudley scored twice for Carter Drug.

Taylor Internal Medicine-Henry Brick

Morgan Smitherman, Calandra Morrow and India Morrow scored two runs each for Taylor Medicine in a 12-10 win.

Maggie Tipton, Jamaya Smith, Pretrice Hopkins, Gabrielle Jones, Shaniya England and Kayla Page added runs.

Jaida Whisnant, Regan Hewitt, Alexis Smith, Cheyenne Hearon, Rahbia Edwards, Tayma Fuller, Miracle Mial, Candice Pate and Andronique Walker scored for Henry Brick.

7-8 Baseball

Coffee Printing-Johnson Paint & Body

Kenyon Thigpen’s three runs led the way in Coffee Printing’s 10-5 win.

Paul Daniels, Peyton Egbert, Mason Kendrick, Bishop Price, Tanner Anderson and Corbin Tolbert scored runs.

For Johnson P&B, Jalen Johnson, Dee Jones, Ivan Williams, Frank Marshall and Anthony Strong scored.

Selma Times-Journal-Shelby’s Tree Service

Jamar Pritchett and Jim Pettway both scored three times for Selma Times-Journal in a 16-14 win.

Parker Little, Reginald Simmons and Brian Crum scored twice.

Evan Glaze led the way with three runs for Shelby’s. Bradley Hood, John Mayhan and Eli Johnson scored twice.

9-11 Softball

Cougar Chevron-Dollar Saver

Four players scored multiple runs for Cougar Chevron in a 13-7 win.

Heather Bright and Tiffanie Mitchell scored three times. Ashley Friday and Morgan Grantham scored twice.

Tori Hatfield, Amber Lane, Carson Gibbs, Cashen Morrison and Lyndsey Patton scored for Dollar Saver.
