Tommy L. Rose Sr.

Tommy L. Rose Sr., age 47, of Selma, passed away Thursday, May 31, 2007, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Lawrence Brown &045; Service Funeral Home with Dr. Kenny Hatcher officiating. Burial will follow at New Live Oak Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 6 – 8

p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2007 at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Mr. Rose is survived by his wife Brenda A. Rush Rose, two sons, Tommy L. Rose Jr., and Alex W. Rose, brothers, Marcus Rose, Curtis Rose, and Bill Buster, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Roy Rose, mother, Peggy Buster, stepfather, Howell Buster, and stepmother, Lillian Rose. Active Pallbearers will be Frank Thorton, Edwin Thorton, Mark McElhaney, Shelton Nichols, Rayborn Hill, and Ronnie Ballentine. Honorary pallbearers are Bill Portwood, Marc McElhaney, Scott Girlie, Jackie Cleckler, Kyle Cleckler, and Jerry Rush.

He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church.

The family is accepting flowers or in lieu of flowers donations can be made to his children’s education fund.
