Mrs. Winifred M. Landers

Funeral Services for Mrs. Winifred M. “Wink” Landers, 87, of Mt. Dora, Fla., will be 1 p.m. (CST), Saturday, May 19, 2007 at Forestlawn Gardens Mausoleum Chapel, where she will be entombed next to her late husband.

The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6 – 8 p.m. (CST) at Gray Brown-Service Mortuary.

Mrs. Landers passed away at Bridgewater Assisted Living in Mt. Dora, Fla.

Survivors include: three sons, Kel Landers and his wife, Judy of Pinehurst, North Carolina, Mark Landers and his wife, Gail of Charlotte, North Carolina, and Tim Landers and his wife Maureen of Apopka, Fla.; a brother, Larry McCarty of Chesapeake ,Virgina; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Landers was born in Selma, Ala., and relocated to Mount Dora, Fla., in 1995.

She was married to the late Joe T. Landers of Anniston, Ala.

She worked at home raising three boys and was a loving mom.

She was also a Sunday School Teacher and a member of Carre’ Class at First United Methodist Church in Anniston, Ala., a member of the Anniston Garden Club, and supported many other volunteer activities.
