Rev. Terry L. Armstrong

Rev. Terry L. Armstrong, age 51, of Selma, Ala., died on May 3, 2007 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 9, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at Ebenezer Baptist Church with Rev. Craig B. Scott officiating. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Preaching and Praise Service will be held on Tuesday, May 8, 2007 at First Baptist Church, Martin Luther King St.

The remains will lie in state at First Baptist Church at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

He is survived by his wife, Veronica Armstrong; five sons, Shannon Lake, James Prince Owens II, Kevin Hobbs, Terrance L. Armstrong and Devin Lee; three daughters, Tibble Lake, La’Kora Armstrong, and Angela Armstrong; one brother, Craig Rogers; two sisters, Anna Rogers and Brenda McCray; ten grandchildren; six brothers-in-laws; three sisters-in-laws; seven nieces; five nephews; great nieces and nephews, cousins, uncles, aunts and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Bobby Joe Rogers and sister, Judith Mathies.

Cynthia Kay Langston Hayes

Cynthia Kay Langston Hayes, age 34, died Friday, May 4, 2007.

Graveside service will be held at 10:00a.m. on Wednesday May 9, 2007 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

She is survived by her children, Auburn and Bradley Clibrey, mother, Mary Ann Langston, father, Joe Bill Langston, brother, Jobie Langston, sister-in-law, Kristy Dillow, and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews.

Coleman Woodson, Sr.

Coleman Woodson, Sr., 83, of Selma passed May 5, 2007 at a local healthcare facility.

Final arrangements will be announced at a later date by J. H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.
