Martha Andrews Foley, age 72, of Selma passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2007 at a local nursing home.

Services will be announced at a later date by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Nettie B. Walker

Walker, Nettie B., 90, a resident of Prattville, AL, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 1, 2007.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 4, 2007, at 2 p.m. from the Chapel of Prattville Memorial, with Pastor Roger Parks officiating.

Burial will follow in Prattville Memory Gardens, with Prattville Memorial Chapel directing. Mrs. Walker was devoted to her family and her church, Heritage Baptist.

She was preceded in death by her parents, W. C. and Mary Willitte; one son, Charles B. “Ned” Jones; one sister, Christine Pearson; and two sons-in-laws, Hardie Hardwick and Harold Crowe.

She is survived by two daughters, Lois Hardwick of Baton Rouge, LA and Betty Crowe of Prattville, AL; one sister, Rosa Carter of Prattville, AL; one sister-in-law, Jessie Crawford of Plantersville, AL; one daughter-in-law, Patsy (Larry) Williams of Montgomery, AL; eight grandchildren, Dawn (Don) Vorhoff, Denise Kennedy, Daryl (Stacey) Hardwick, Wayne Hardwick, Dion (Brenda) Zumo, Mitch Crowe, Travis Crowe and Damon (Allie) Jones; 16 great grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friend. Pallbearers will be Damon Jones, Dion Zumo, Mitch Crowe, Daryl Hardwick, John Hardwick, Don Vorhoff, Josh Vorhoff, and Henry Guarino. The family will receive friends at Prattville Memorial Chapel on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m.
