Woodie Johnson, Jr., age 79, of New York died on April 24, 2007 in New York.

Funeral services will be held on May 1, 2007 at 12:00 p.m. at New Bride Baptist Church with Curtis Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in New Bride Cemetery with Walker Mortuary directing.

Survivors include: two sons, Edward (Harriet) Foster of Selma, Ala., and Dwight Hutchinson of New York; three daughters; ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three sons-in-laws; and one nephew.

Pallbearers will be family.
