Charles Leslie “Lit” Harrison

Charles Leslie “Lit” Harrison, 97, of Marion, Ala., died March 13, 2007, at his residence.

Services will be March 15, 2007 at 11 a.m. at the Marion Cemetery.

Graveside Services with Dr. Mark Tew officiating and Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

Family will receive friends at Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel on March 15, 2007 from 10-10:45 a.m.

Survivors are a son, Leslie Talbert Harrison (Debbie Abrams Harrison) of Marion, Ala., one grandson, Christopher Lee Harrison (Melissa Tripp Harrison) of Moundville, Ala., three great grandchildren, Tripp, Mills, and Carolynn Harrison of Moundville, Ala.

Lit Harrison was born June 6, 1909 to James Irvin and Lola Mae Harrison in Perry County.

Pallbearers are Doctor Thomas Wilson, Mr. Andy Rogers, Mr. John Anderson, Mr. Thomas Oakes, Mr. Jimmy Nettles, Mr. William Hoover Stewart, and Mayor Anthony Long.

Honorary Pallbearers are Doctor and Mrs. Percy Dayton Sadler, Mrs. Elmer Holifield, Mr. James Boozer, Mr. and Mrs. William H. Stewart, junior, Mr. Randolph Richardson Jr., Mr. Francis Conrad Taylor, Mr. Thomas Wilson, Mr. and Mrs. James Rogers and Mr. and Mrs. James Walter Abrams.
