Susie Honeycutt

Susie Honeycutt, age 51, of Selma, AL passed away March 3, 2007 in her home surrounded by her loving family and friends.

She was a devoted wife, mother and a dedicated nurse to the Selma community for 32 years.

Her hobbies included gardening, flea markets, thrift stores, yard sales, and raising her two children.

She is survived by her husband, David Honeycutt, daughter Jennifer Honeycutt Craig (Donnie), son Jonathan Honeycutt, mother Helen Bailey, step father Bernard Bailey of Elberton, Ga., brother Marcus Little (Connie) of Birmingham, cousin Melissa Day of Nashville, TN, and sister in-law Mabel Ozanich.

She was preceded in death by her father, Eugene Milton Reynolds, sister Brenda Carol Little and Grandmother Beulah Trull.

Visitation will be held at Selma Funeral Home on Monday, March 5 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.

Funeral services will be in the Chapel of Selma Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at l:30 p.m. with burial in New Like Oak Cemetery, with Rev. Joe Wyatt officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Pallbearers will be Paul Bearden, Paul Gallion, Billy Osborn, Carson Jones, Kenneth Williams, and Richard Krunosky.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Dr. William C. Deavor, Dr. Nicholas Knight, Dr. Wylie Newton, Dr. Jack Burns, Dr. Julian Howell, Dr. Raymond Brignac, Alton Earl Williams, Jerry Little and Wayne Little.

The family wishes to thank her best friend, Brenda Williams for all her help and support.

Cynthia Paige-Dorsey

Mrs. Cynthia Paige-Dorsey, age 43 of Demopolis, passed February 24, 2007 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 6, 2007 at 2 p.m. at the Greater New Hope Baptist Church, Demopolis. Rev. Honoree Lockett will officiate. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis. The remains will repose at the church on Tuesday beginning at 1 p.m.

Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis entrusted with arrangements.
