The city’s Public Works Department will no doubt be working around the clock – not just in preparation, but also cleanup during and after the festival.

The flowers and landscaping on downtown corners is beautiful, and now the Edmund Pettus Bridge is being re-painted.

Just sprucing up around your home or business, picking up trash off the sidewalk and taking out the trash will make a better impression.

Let’s all put our best foot forward this weekend – be friendly, courteous, helpful and, at the same time, enjoy the festivities.
