Jessica Lynne Lolley

Jessica Lynne Lolley, age 17 of Selma, passed away February 19, 2007.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Westwood Church of God with Rev. Jonathan Lambert and Scott Girlie officiating and Lawrence Funeral Home directing. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 21, 2007 from 6-8 at the funeral home.

Survivors include her parents, Bill and Sherry Lolley; sisters, Micah and Billinda Lolley and a brother, Joseph Lolley; grandparents: David and Peggy Mosley and Joy and Bill Lolley; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Pallbearers will be Benson Girlie, Bill Chance, Brandon Lolley, Trent Smith, Zack Lawrence, Chris Ingram, and Lee Banks.

Honorary pallbearers will be the Junior Class of Meadowview Christian School.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the Westwood Church of God Youth and Drama Ministry.

Jessica was a dedicated member of the Westwood Church of God, where she was a member of the Praise Team, choir, drama team, youth ministries, and a Sunday School Teacher.

At Meadowview Christian she was affiliated with the Student Government Association and Senior Beta Club.

She also was a member of the Selma-Dallas County Youth and Leadership, Youth Ambassadors and Youth Government Programs.

Gene Larry ‘Granddaddy’ Lollar

Gene Larry “Granddaddy” Lollar, age 63, died February 15, 2007 at his residence in Columbus, MS.

Mr. Lollar formerly of Selma was retired from Applied Industries (formerly American Bearing).

Services were held at Memorial Funeral Home in Columbus, MS, on Saturday, February 17, 2007.

He was born on May 8, 1943 in Lamar County , AL to the late C.R. and Katherine McNeese Lollar.

He is survived by his two daughters, Cass Guiterrez and her husband Randy of Colorado Springs, CO and K.C. Clowdus and her husband Ken of Blountsville, AL; and two grandchildren, Melissa and Annon Clowdus also of Blountsville, AL. A special friend Frances Wilson Calhoun of Nauvoo, AL; and a host of other family and friends.

Memorial can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38101.

Mr. George Walters

Mr. George Walters, age 61, of Marion, AL died on February 19, 2007 at UAB Hospital.

Funeral services and survivors will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.
