James Kenneth Aldridge

James Kenneth Aldridge, age 75, died, Tuesday, February 6, 2007 at home.

Funeral services will be held 2:00p.m. Thursday February 8, 2007, at Westwood Baptist Church with the Rev. Ed Eaton officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing, with burial following at New Live Oak Cemetery.

Mr. Aldridge is survived by his wife, Eleanor Jean Aldridge of Selma; daughters, Kristi (Tim) Alexander of Eva, Ala., Sharon (Steve) Callahan of Prattville, Lena (Scott) Swanson of Selma; two sisters, Linda (Walter) Brooks of Decatur, and Shirley (Roger) Freeman of Hueytown, Ala.; grandchildren, Roman Maxwell, Chikita (Shane) Meigs, James Bennett, Tori Callahan, Shay Callahan and Kenan Swanson; great grandchild, Michelle Meigs.

Mr. Aldridge was a member of the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Korean Conflict.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Westwood Baptist Church or Hospice Inc.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 P.M. at the church prior to the service.
