Jessie Chamberlain Longmire

Jessie Chamberlain Longmire, age 97, died Tuesday January 23, 2007 in a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Friday, January 26, at Plantersville Christian Cemetery officiated by Doug Coats and directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mrs. Longmire is survived by her daughter, Paula (James) Pickering of Selma, daughter-in-law, Linda Longmire of Seattle, Wash., grandchildren, Jay (Amy) Pickering, Carole (Jeffrey) Neichin, Bryan (Tamara) Longmire, and Paul Pickering, great-grandchildren, Ashley Burton and Gracyn Longmire.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Bryan Longmire, and her son, Colonel Ernest Bryan Longmire, Jr.

The family wants to express special love and thanks to the staff of Warren Manor for their loving care of Mrs. Longmire.

Earnest Roland

Earnest Roland, age 40, of Selma, died on January 23, 2007 at home.

Funeral services will be announced later by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.
