Two Dallas County men remain jailed on $25,000 bond, charged with the robbery of the Cloverdale Apartment Complex manager’s office, where they left the manager bound on the floor.

Witnesses told police the men had been &8220;hanging around&8221; the complex all day on Friday, and were helpful in identifying the suspects.

Jasper Blevins, 19, of Highway 22 W., Orrville, was taken into custody at his residence, police said. Police said Blevins cooperated in providing the name of his accomplice, Michael Powell, 18, of 2918 Perham Ave. They are both charged with first degree robbery.

Police said Mary Callaway, the apartment complex manager, was discovered shortly after the suspects fled. She was not injured, police said.

SPD Detective Al Blackmon contacted the Dallas County Sheriffs Department for assistance. Blackmon and Deputy Calvin Edwards arrested Blevins in Orrville and transported him to the SPD for questioning. Police said Blevins cooperated with authorities and before they could pick up his accomplice, Powell came to police headquarters to bail out his friend.

Police credit the Dallas County Sheriffs Department and witnesses in the apartment complex who noticed the men, then cooperated with authorities in the investigation. Both men were in custody by 5 p.m., according to police records.
