Rebecca Henderson, 91, of Selma died Dec. 16, at a local nursing home.

Willie J. Scott

Willie J. Scott, 68, of Selma died Dec. 16 at a local hospital. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Ella Flowers

Ella Flowers, 86, of Selma died Dec. 15 at a local hospital. Final arrangements will be announced at a later date.

Lois G. Chatman

Mrs. Lois G. Chatman, age 84, of Chicago, Illinois, formerly of Gallion, Alabama passed December 11, 2006 in Chicago, Illinois.

Graveside Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 1:00 P.M at Mt. Cannan Cemetery, Gallion, Alabama.

William Boykin Jones Jr.

JONES, Jr., William Boykin (Blue) age 51, of Camden, AL died December 15, 2006 in

Birmingham after a three month battle with a rare type of cancer. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December 18, at the Camden United Methodist Church with Rev. Alan McBride and Rev. Ed Shirley officiating. Burial will follow

at Camden Cemetery with Dunklin & Daniels Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the church fellowship hall.

Jones, senior vice president at the Camden National Bank, was a lifelong Wilcox County resident. He attended Wilcox schools and graduated from Wilcox Academy.

A graduate of Auburn University with a degree in agricultural science, Jones worked in banking for more than twenty-two years.

Jones attended Camden United Methodist Church where he was a member of the Friends in Faith Sunday School Class and president of the administrative board. He served many years as a member of the Wilcox Academy Board of Directors and as president of the Athletic Association.

Mr. Jones is preceded in death by his father, William Boykin Jones, Sr. and his brother, Richard Channing Jones. He is survived by his wife, Karen Smelley Jones his son, William Boykin Jones, in of Prattville, his daughter, Anne Garvin Jones, a student at Auburn University, his mother, Virginia Cox Jones of Camden, and his aunt, Anne Carroll Smith of Mobile.

Pallbearers include: George Alford, Wayne Dunnam, John Dunnam, Jimmy Garrett, Hal Huggins, Edgar McGraw, Frank McGraw, Lee Thomas, Frank Walburn and Robert Williams. Honorary pallbearers include: Andrew Cromer, Joe McGlincey, Lathrop Smith, Doug Talbot, and the Camden National Bank Board of Directors:Sumpter Blackmon, Pete Curry, Les Johnson, Billy Malone, Eddie Stone, and Jimmie Travis.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camden United Methodist Church for Ben Agee’s &8216;LOVEM Orphan Care&8221; or to the Neuro Oncology Department of UAB, ATTN: Shanna Gaston, 510 20th Street South, FOT 1053, Birmingham, AL; 35294.
