James Roscoe Mitchell Sr., age 87, of Selma, Ala., died on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at Perry County Nursing Home.

Graveside services were held on Monday, December 4, 2006 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Tom McLeMore directing. Burial followed at Pineland Memorial Cemetery with Rockco Funeral Home directing.

He is survived by his wife, Frances
