Glenisha L. Moore

Glenisha L. Moore, age 33, of Woodbury, Minn. died on November 2, 2006.

Memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 4:00 pm at Beloved Apostolic Church in Selma, Ala.

She is survived by her parents, Smith Moore and Charimon McGahee; maternal

grandmother, Mary McGahee; sisters, Tanya Moore, Ebony Reed and Amber Reed; brothers, John Spicer and Hakim Reed. She is further survived by a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Andre King

Andre King, age 34, of Detroit, Mich. died on November 7, 2006 at St. John Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Morning Star Baptist Church in Marion Junction with Pastor Labarron Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Morning Star Baptist Church Yard Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Artelia Evans Hardy

Artelia Evans Hardy, 83, of Pleasant Hill, passed November 11, 2006 in Detroit, Mich.

Funeral will be Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 12:00 noon from Good Hope Baptist Church with Rev. John Ward officiating. Burial in churchyard cemetery with J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home directing.

Family will receive friends on Friday, November 17 from 6-7 pm at the chapel of J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home.

Calvin Veazey

Calvin Veazey, age 61, of Selma, Ala. died on November 12, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Steven Williams officiating. Burial will follow in Fair Lawn Memory Gardens with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: spouse, Dorothy Veazey; four brothers, Harry Veazey, Olvin Veazey, William Veazey, and James Veazey; three sisters, Mamie Brooks, Bernice Green and Virginia Isom; mother-in-law, Rosie Lee Hunter; four brothers-in-laws, five sisters-in-laws, seven nieces and thirteen nephews.

Pallbearers will be the Lutheran Laymen League. Flowerbearers will be the Lutheran Women’s Missionary League.

Eula Rudolph

Eula Rudolph, age 88, a resident of Mobile, Ala. died on November 12, 2006.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at the Bougahoma Baptist Church with Rev. Earnest Green officiating. Burial in Bougahoma Baptist Cemetery with Bell Funeral Home directing.

Bertha G. Skinner

Bertha G. Skinner, age 79, of Selma, Ala. died on November 16, 2006 at Warren Manor Nursing Home.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, November 20, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at Elmwood Cemetery with Rev. G.C. Williams officiating. Directed by Miller Funeral Service.

Survivors include: one daughter, Delores Holloway; eight grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

Richard Danny Johnson

Richard Danny Johnson, 53, of Selma, died on November 14, 2006 at his home.

Chapel services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the chapel of Lawrence Funeral Home with Minister Timothy Richburg officiating.

Mr. Johnson is survived by his wife, Gaynell F. Johnson; children, Alicia Sullivan (Gary) and Corey Ernst (Trish); grandchildren, Kristen, Britany, and William; brother, Randy Johnson; sister, Betty Satun (Fred); nephews, Allen Klumker and Jack Satun.

Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2006 at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Corey Ernst, John Ivy, David Martin, William Riley, James Riley and Allen Klumker.

Hattie Foster Johnson

Hattie Foster Johnson, age 70, of Manhattan, N.Y. died on November 7, 2006 in New York.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 18, 2006 at 12:00 noon at New Bride Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Walker Mortuary directing.

Survivors include: her spouse, Woody Johnson of Manhattan, N.Y.; two sons, Edward (Harriett) Foster of Selma, Ala. and Dwight Hutchinson of Manhattan, N.Y.; three brothers, Amas (Cleon) Smith of Detroit, Mich., Thomas (Vivian) Battle of Oak Park, Mich., and Lewis (Sigrid) Moorer of El Paso, Texas; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
