“There is a moment I revel in everything,” says Sue Lide of Orange Beach. Having a golden retriever like Lucy makes life so enjoyable in our home.

She never fails to be grateful. When Tom & Jerry came to live with us, she accepted them so well. When they get ready for a nap, they snuggle up real close knowing that she will be rewarded with a treat. We put them in the back seat of the car, no car seats or litter boxes. They play for awhile and then they are sound asleep for a long ride to my mother’s in Selma

These pets make me want to be better in my life and, also, I know there is so much good left in the world.
