Nannie Bell Tyler

Nannie Bell “Tootsie” Tyler, age 64, of Selma, AL passed away on November 7, 2006.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 11, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Scott officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery, Jones, AL.

Visitation will be at the funeral home Friday at 6-8:00 p.m.

She is survived by three sons, Gene (Helena) McCray, Wayne (Tracy) McCray and Gary McCray; two daughters, Debbie Chancey and Deresa Taylor; four brothers, Macon Moore, Henry Moore, Bill Moore and David Moore, Jr.; seven sisters, Bernice Blackerby, Minnie Rivers, Betty Jo Kendrick, Ruth Arthur, Shirley Davis, Frances Prickett and June Furlough; eleven grandchildren, Sonny Hollingshead, Shaun Pierce, Ashley Pierce, Jesica McCray, Kayla McCray, Gary Wayne McCray, Steven Howey, Wayne McCray, Jr., Haley McCray, Joshua McCray and Nathan McCray; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, David Lee Moore, Sr. and Viola Moore.

William E Morgan

William E Morgan, 72, of Orange Beach, Alabama and former resident of Selma, passed away at his home on Monday, November 6, 2006.

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Morgan; her daughters, Laurel Murphy, Chandan Sandley, and Monique Sandley; a son, Joseph Sandley; step-son, George Haughton of Orange Beach, Al; sister, Aurelia M. Ellison of Selma; nephew, Paul Ellison of Elberta, Al. and his wife Joyce and daughter Kera; his niece, Julia Berry of Pensacola, Fla. and her husband Noah and daughter Morgan Cole.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Lillian Kemp Haughton.

William was well known in the area because of the years spent in the boating business.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 10, 2006 at 11 a.m. at Church Street United Methodist Church, Selma.
