The Wildcats (9-2) will travel to face Southern Academy next week in what looks to be one of the most anticipated matchups in the AISA playoffs.

Southern, which beat Springwood 41-3 Friday, barely kept its three-year winning streak alive by beating Wilcox 7-0 in Week 5 of the regular season.

Ray’s 177 yards and three touchdowns led the Wildcats’ effort. Bozeman had 154 yards and three touchdowns, and Lyon had 104 yards and one score. Lyon also returned a kick 60 yards for another touchdown.

Wilcox got ahead 16-0 after the end of the first quarter and led 38-12 at halftime.

They added 20 more points in the third.8:41 to play.
