Prayer service set at Park Place

To the Editor:

We are having a Prayer Crusade at the Park Place Nursing Home beginning Nov. 1 at 2:30 p.m. We will meet each Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in our activity center and pray for our 103 residents, our 129 employees, our churches, all pastors, our policemen, our city council and our coming election on Nov. 7.

We are using an eagle as our mascot and we are claiming these promises in the Holy Bible. Isaiah 40:31, “Those who wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run and not grow weary. They shall walk and not faint.”

Phil. 4:6-7, “Be anxious for nothing but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”

I ask all Christians to join us in prayer for this crusade.
