Annie Smith, age 80, of Selma, AL, passed away October 25, 2006 at a local nursing home.

Selma Funeral Home will announce funeral arrangements at a later date.

Betty Jo Smith

Betty Jo Smith, age 59, died Tuesday, October 24, 2006 at her home in Selma, AL.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, October 26, 2006 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home with Dr. David Thomas officiating.

Mrs. Smith is survived by her son: J. Chris (Wendy) Smith; daughter: Kim Smith (Frank) Reynolds; grandchildren: Meagan Dockery, Kayla Dockery, and Brooke Chambers; sister: Katie (Gary) Copeland and her pet: Precious.

Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her parents: J. Reed Thompson and Emily S. Thompson.

In lieu of flowers the family would like donations to made to the Dallas County Public Library.

Fred C. Thompson

Fred C. Thompson, age 74, of Selma, AL died on October 24, 2006 at the Veterans Hospital.

Funeral services and survivors will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.

Jimmy (Sang) Holman

Jimmy (Sang) Holman, age 51, of Dallas, formerly of Selma, AL, departed this life on October 19, 2006 at Medical Center of Lancaster.

Services at 11 am on Friday, October 27, 2006 at Tree of Life Missionary Baptist Church in Dallas, TX with Sandra Clark Funeral Services directing.

Survivors include: son, Jimmy A. Holman; daughter, Fedilles Hall; brothers, William Holman, Elder Jerry (Shanetta) Holman, Leon (Demetrius) Holman and Charlie (Barbara) Loder; sister, Annie (Jonny) Haynes; grandchildren, Tebneasha, Shanteria, Anthony and Deymond; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.

Robert Hatcher

Robert Hatcher, age 65, of Selma, AL died on October 24, 2006 at Vaughan Regional Medical Center.
