Bulldogs face Greensboro Tuesday

The Selma Middle CHAT Academy Bulldogs are 5-1 under first-year coach Ivery Williams.

The team lost its first game 8-6 to Prattville.

After that, the Bulldogs defeated Westlawn of Tuscaloosa, Camden Middle School, Tipton Middle School and St. Jude of Montgomery. CHAT won both games against St. Jude 20-12.

Quarterback Darion Alexander has thrown for 412 yards and six touchdowns this season. Running back Keenan Woods has 476 rushing yards, six rushing touchdowns and one receiving touchdown.

The big offensive line of Jonah Martin, Lakendrick Adams, Raheem Walker, Derrick Billingsley, Kerry Mitchell and center Derion Pratt protects Woods and Alexander.

James Tolbert, Roosevelt Jones, Ivan Johnson, Kennedy Harrison, Steven Fitts and Keymiyah Harrell lead the defense.

Eddie Johnson, Rodney Mobley, Roderick Brewer and Tywan Williams lead the special teams.

The Bulldogs close out the season Tuesday night on the road against Greensboro.
