Daisy Glover, 78, of Selma died Saturday, Sept. 23 at her residence.

Mrs. Annie Louise Thurman

Mrs. Annie Louise Thurman, age 87, of Demopolis, Alabama passed Sept. 19, 2006 at her residence. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, Sept. 26, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the Eastern Star Baptist Church, Demopolis, Ala. Rev. Terry Gosa will officiate. Interment will follow in Millers Cemetery,

Demopolis, Ala. The remains will repose at the church Tuesday beginning at 11:00 a.m. Larkin and Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Ala. entrusted with arrangements.

Perry Neeland Kirk

Perry Neeland Kirk, age 91, of Greensboro, Ala. died Sept. 23, 2006 at his home.

Kirk was born on Feb. 21, 1915 and has been a resident of Greensboro for 68 years. He did painting and papering in the Greensboro area for a number of years. He was associated with Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel from 1979 until he retired.

A graveside funeral service will be held Monday, Sept. 25 at 2 p.m. at Oakwood Cemetery with the Revs. Steve Vernon and Alton Phillips officiating.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Monday at Kirk Funeral Homes Greensboro Chapel.

Kirk was preceded in death by wife Lee Estelle Johnson Kirk, parents Robert Thomas Kirk and Fannie Kate Neeland Kirk and nine brothers and sisters.

Kirk is survived by a son and daughter-in law, Mr. and Mrs. Sherrill Neeland Kirk (Linda Ryan) of Marion, Ala; granddaughter Lea Elizabeth Kirk of Greensboro, Ala.; and sister Ottice Kirk Johnson of Greensboro, Ala.

Jason Aron Lawrence

Jason Aron Lawrence, age 24, of Hampton, Virginia, formerly of Selma, died Wednesday, September 20, 2006 in Virginia. Graveside funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 27, 2006 at Pineview Memory Gardens directed by Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home.

Mr. Lawrence is survived by his wife, Danielle Campbell Lawrence, daughter, Charity Brooke Lawrence, parents Tammy Duke and Jeffrey (Sharon) Lawrence, brothers, Allen Jatko, Joey Lawrence and Jeremy Lawrence, sisters, Jessica Lawrence, Hailey Lawrence, and Tanna Duke. He served for six years in the U.S. Navy as an Air Traffic Controller. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 26, 2006.
