Mr. Lee Williams Sr., age 78, of Selma, Alabama died on Thursday, August 31, 2006

at Vaughan Regional Hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Wayman Chapel AME with Rev. Glenn King officiating. Burial will follow in Pineview Memory Gardens with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: his wife, Hannah Williams; four sons, Venice Williams, Jr. of McDonough, GA, Jerome Williams of Tuscaloosa, AL, Jeffrey Williams of Selma, AL, and Michael Haith of Auburn, AL; one daughter, Betty J. Moore of Selma, AL; one sister, Selena Simmons; twenty-two grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; three sisters-in-law.

Pallbearers will be Sons of Smokey City.

Family Hour will be 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Miller Funeral Chapel, Selma, AL on Friday, September 8, 2006.

Survivors include: parents, Dominik and Richard Jones, Sr.; brother, Richard Jones, Jr.; grandparents, Ms. Bonnie West Simmons of Selma, Ms. Lillie Jones of Selma, Mr. Dondi (Alberta) Fikes of Selma, and Mr. Mark Simmons of Selma; great grandparents, Ms. Alice West of Selma and Mr. Freddie (Charlotte) Jones of Selma; uncle, Lt. Mrs. Lucille Jones-Fitts, age 60, of Demopolis, Alabama died on September 4, 2006 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis, Alabama.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the New Morning Star Baptist Church in Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Willie Williams will officiate. Interment will follow in Hopewell Cemetery in Demopolis, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church beginning at 10:00 a.m.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 12:00 p.m. at Brown Chapel AME Church with Rev. James Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include: one brother, Auguster Maul, Sr.; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; four sisters-in-law; and a host of nephews, nieces and other relative.

Mr. David Carter Sr., age 49, of Livingston, Alabama passed away on September 2, 2006 at D.C.H. Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church in Livingston, Alabama. Rev. Roy Allen will officiate. The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 12:00 noon. Public viewing will be held on Saturday from 5 pm until 6 pm at the church.
