Deacon Walter Smith, age 76, of Gallion, Ala., passed Aug. 24, 2006 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006 at 3:30 p.m. at the Gilfield Missionary Baptist Church, Gallion, Ala. Rev. Moses Jones, Sr., Pastor. Rev. James R. Murdock will officiate.

Interment will follow in the Bethlehem Cemetery, Allenville, Ala.

The remains will repose at the church on Wednesday beginning at 2:45 p.m.

Minister Clara Wilson, age 47, of Gallion, Ala. passed away on Aug. 22, 2006 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Aug. 30, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at the John The Baptist Church in Gallion, Ala. Rev. Gerome Burrell will officiate.

Interment will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Gallion, Ala.

The remains will repose at the church on Wednesday beginning at 12:00 noon.
