Eunice Mann Shigley

Eunice Mann Shigley died August 20, 2006, at a Pensacola Nursing Home.

She was 98 years old on July 15, 2006.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, F.W. and Minnie Mann, her husband of

53 years, Clarence W. Shigley, her two sisters, Lezetta Mann Winkler and Nell Mann Tarvin, her four brothers, Herschel Mann, Roland Mann, Eula Frank Mann, and Curley Mann and a grandson, Jimmy W. Hayes.

She is survived by one son Herschel W. (Patricia) Shigley of Prescott, Arizona, two daughters, Rebecca Shigley (Quentin) Black of Pensacola, Florida and Ruth Marie Shigley (Harold) Thrasher of Selma, and one sister Frances Mann Ogdon.

Nine grandchildren, Kathy Shigley (Richard) Reich, Mark Shigley, Michael (Lori) Shigley,

Van (Patsy) Black, John Black, Lee (Debbie) Black, Dennis (Donna) Hulsey, David (Jan) Hulsey, and Susan (Steve) Dykes, remember their Granny with much love.

15 great-grandchildren complete her family heritage.

Services will be in Gadsden, Alabama at Crestwood Funeral Home and Cemetery. Visitation at 10:00am and Services at 11:00am Thursday, August 24, 2006.

Grandsons and nephews will serve as pallbearers.

Neal C. Doblin

Neal C. Doblin, age 55, of Hamilton died Sunday, August 20, 2006 at The Medical Center.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 24, 2006 in Parkhill Cemetery according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road Chapel, Columbus, GA. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 23, 206 from 6 until 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Mr. Doblin was born on November 11, 1950 to the late Jay and Ethel Doblin of Selma, Alabama. He retired from his managerial position in retail which led to his involvement as a golf Marshall at Bull Creek.

Survivors include his wife, Jean Doblin of Hamilton; one son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Wendi Doblin of Rome, GA; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Steve and Suzye Doblin of Beaumont, Texas and Charlie and Lette Dow of Matinez, California.

Louise Preston, age 82, of Selma, Alabama died on August 22, 2006 at Park Place Nursing Home.

Percy Montgomery

Percy Montgomery, age 95, of Selma, Alabama passed on August 22, 2006 at a local nursing facility.
