Katherine Elizabeth Ricketts, age 79, of Selma, passed away August 1, 2006 at a local hospital. Funeral services will be Friday, August 4, 2006, 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Davis officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 3, 2006, 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

She is survived by two sons, Bobby R. Ricketts and John W. Ricketts; one daughter, Betty Jean Foxhall; three brothers, Johnny Hughes, David Hughes and Eli Hughes; one sister, Gladys Griffin; five grandchildren, Bob, Josh, Wade, Sarah and Grace Ricketts and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Ricketts was preceded in death by her husband, Bob Ricketts.

Pallbearers will be Lewis Troha, Bobby Sanders, Jim Griffin, Tom Griffin, Gary Griffin, and Brian Griffin.

Honorary pallbearers will be past and present deacons of West End Baptist Church.

Robert O. “Big O” Weeden, Jr., age 48, of Selma, AL passed away August 1, 2006. Funeral services will be Friday, August 4, 2006, 2:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at 1:00 p.m.

Interment will be in Pineview Memory Gardens.
