To the Editor:

While I do not live in Lowndes County, I do have a valid interest in what goes on. Our son owns many acres of land and waterfront property.

If people would only try to fish or just view the barge traffic on the Tombigbee River they would have just an “inkling” as to what our beautiful Alabama river will be like.

Can you imagine more pollution in our waters? This must be stopped.
