Rev. Searcy Wright
Rev. Searcy Wright, 66, of Perry County died July 2, 2006 at Bibb Medical Center.
Services are scheduled for July 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Oak Grove United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Deyampert.
Survivors include his wife Viola Wright; three sons, Drake, Lorenzo and Reginald Wright; three daughters, Shirley, Kathy and Denise Wright; seven brothers, Willie, Charles, Cleotha, William, Lloyd, J.C., and John; five sisters, Leonia, Walta Mae, Shirley, Nan Vera, and Joann; nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren and a host of nephews and nieces.
Mary M.J. Peterson
Mrs. Mary M.J. Peterson, 63, of Linden, Alabama, a retired educator with the Dallas County School System entered into eternal rest Sunday, July 1, 2006 at her residence.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 12:00 noon at the First Baptist Church, Linden, Alabama. Rev. Robert Pearce, Jr, pastor. Rev. Dr. F.D. Reese will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 10:00 am.

Mr. Mason Larkin Sr., 77, of Bellamy, Alabama passed July 2, 2006 at Rush Medical Center, Meridian, Mississippi.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at the Mt. Tabor Baptist Church, Coatopa, Alabama. Rev. Albert Murdock Jr. will officiate. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery with Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
Shirley Holloman
Shirley Holloman, 53, of Selma passed July 5, 2006 in Selma, Alabama.
Services will be announced at a later date by Miller Funeral Service.
Callie Walter Rand
Callie Walter Rand, 55, of Perry County, Marion, died June 30, 2006 at home.
Services are scheduled for July 8, 2006 at 1:00 pm at Green Liberty Baptist Church, with Rev. Jesse Brown officiating. Burial will follow at Green Liberty Baptist Church. Directed by Miller Funeral Service.
Survivors include her husband Johnny Rand; two sons Rodney Walter and James Bernard Walter; three daughters, Jacinta L. Walter, Cynthia Tutt and Cassandra Walter; 17 grandchildren, nine sisters-in-law, five brothers-in-law and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Dave Walter and Ozella Walter.

Mrs. Lucille Robinson Terry, 84, of Selma, Al peacefully passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at her home.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 9, 2006 at 11:00 am at Clinton Chapel AME Zion Church, with Rev. David Grant officiating. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.
She leaves to cherish her memories one son, James E (Lillie W.) Terry, Jr., one daughter, Dorothy T. White of Cincinnati, Ohio; six grandchildren, Morris Terry, Charles (Velma) Terry, Lolitha Terry, Ardrill Warren, Rainean T. Lanier, and Brandon Terry; ten great grandchildren, four great-great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
