Robert Caver

Robert Caver, age 67, of Dallas County, AL died on June 26, 2006.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, June 29, 2006 at 1:00 PM at Lewis Brothers Chapel with Rev. Lee Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Robert Caver was born June 16, 1939 to the late Mr. Mose Nunn and Mrs. Onetta Pearson.

Robert married the love of his life, Lois Mary Caver in 1962. She was a faithful and devoted wife. On June 26, 2006 Robert exchanged time for eternity and is now at rest.

Cherished memories of his life are left with: his loving wife Lois Caver; three sons: Willie Anderson (Rose), Mark Caver (Maxine), and Rodney Caver (Sheila); and two daughters: Onetta Glover (Curtis) and Emma Ellis (Thaddeus). Three sisters: Hattie, Emma Caver and Anna Bailey; four brothers: John Caver (Ann), Charles Pearson, Matthew Pearson (Brenda Ann), and James Caver (Faye).

He also leaves behind one special sister-in-law: Bertha Caver, eleven grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, and other friends and relative.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Willie D. Caver.

James Terry Peal

James Terry Peal, age 57, died Monday, June 26, 2006 at a local hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 29, 2006 at Pineview Memory Gardens with Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Peal is survived by his wife of 38 years, Diane Peal of Selma, mother, Dorothy Peal of Selma, daughters, Beverly (Chris) Strickland of Valley Grande, Terri (Burton) Fisher of Sardis, and Jaimie Peal of Selma, grandchildren, Ashley Strickland, Blanton Strickland, and Brent Strickland all of Valley Grande, and a sister Debra (Jim) Smallwood of Valparaiso, IN.

Pallbearers will be Jason Potvin, Billy Kellum, Joey Vining, Dennis Vasser, Sam Jeffords, and Elijah Dunning.

Honorary pallbearers are Leonard Ingram, Tom Dunning, Tommy Johnston, and Merrill Smith.

Family will receive friends Wednesday June 28, 2006 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Little Miss Jackeyce Lee, age 5, of Selma died on June 23, 2006 in Perry County.
