Billie W. Sioma

Billie W. Sioma, age 58, of Sylvania Township, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Inpatient Unit of Toledo, Ohio.

She was born in Selma, Alabama on July 2, 1947 to Ernest Willie and Lucille (Sims) Walker.

Billie married Donald Sioma on December 30th, 1967.

She held several managerial positions in the healthcare field until they moved to Toledo in 1988.

She then began her career as a realtor in 1994 working with Welles Bowen, Cavalear, Home Source Realty and Sulpher Springs.

Billie was a member of the Million Dollar Club in 2003 and 2004.

She was a member of the Toledo Board of Realtors and the OAR and the NAR.

Billie is survived by her husband, Donald; sisters, Martha Chandler (J.T.) and Betty Ferguson; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Frances Walker.

Visitation will be on Monday at the Dillard Funeral Home in Troy from 1 to

2 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at Elam Cemetery in Pike County at 3 p.m. with the Rev. David Motes officiating.

Jacqueline Donetta Lee, age 50, of Selma, AL died on June 5, 2006 at a local hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 1 PM at Calvary Missionary Baptist Church with Charles A. Lett officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery with Miller Funeral Service directing.

Survivors include: her ex-husband, Andrew Ford, Sr.; one son, Andrew Ford, Jr.; two daughters, Cora Ford of Selma and Yvonshen Lee of Selma; six brothers, David (Beverly) Lee of Selma, Willie Lee of Detroit, MI, Howard (Darcell) Lee of Detroit, MI, James (Pam) Lee of Detroit, MI, Robert Lee of Selma, and Otis Lee of Selma; three sisters, Mary (Moses) Williams of Selma, Cora (Leroy) Morgan of Detroit, MI, and Ollie J. Morgan of Selma; seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Mrs. Lillie M. Cunningham

Mrs. Lillie M. Cunningham, age 72, of Demopolis, Alabama died on June 6, 2006 at Bryan Whitfield Hospital in Demopolis.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 11, 2006 at 1 PM at Bethel-Pine Baptist Church in Livingston, Alabama with Rev. Floyd Bell officiating. Interment will follow in Bethel Cemetery in Coatopa, Alabama.

Public viewing will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 from 1-7 PM at the Funeral Home.

Hattie Smith

Hattie Smith, age 79, of Selma, AL died on June 6, 2006 at a Birmingham hospital.

Funeral services are scheduled for 12 noon on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Grant Chapel AME Church with pastor Marion Brock officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery with J.H. Williams & Sons Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Smith retired from the Selma Public Schools as a cafeteria service worker having been associated for over 27 years.

Survivors include: sons, Erick (Francine) Smith of Selma and Eli (Dee) Green of Huber Heights, OH; stepson, Jonathan Smith of Selma; a sister, Margaret (Leon) Berry of Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren and one great grandchild, plus a host of other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, June 9, 2006 from 7 to 8 PM.

Betty M. Pressley

Betty M. Pressley, age 72, of Tallassee, formerly of Selma, died on Thursday, June 8, 2006 at a Tallassee hospital.

Chapel services will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at Lawrence Funeral Home. Burial will follow in New Live Oak Cemetery with Lawrence Funeral Home directing.

Mrs. Pressley was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Cecil Pressley and a daughter, Diane Davis. Survivors include: a son and daughter-in-law, Wayne and Cindy Pressley of Tallassee, AL; a daughter and son-in-law, Rita and Wes Mills of Ohio; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Lawrence Funeral Home from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday.

Mrs. Betty K. Williams

Mrs. Betty K. Williams, age 51, of Linden, Alabama died on June 3, 2006 at her home.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 10, 2006 at 1 PM at the Hopewell Baptist Church in Linden, Alabama with rev. Gerome Burrell officiating. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery.

The remains will repose at the church on Saturday beginning at 12 noon.

Public viewing will be held Friday, June 9, 2006 from 1-7PM.
