The Dollar Saver squad continued their dominance in the 9-11 Fastpitch age group with an 11-2 victory over Tabor Construction at the Dallas County Sportplex.

Dollar Saver cruised to an 11-0 lead after three innings with Whitney Denson getting the win on the mound.

Denson only threw for three innings, but recorded nine strikeouts while giving up one hit and one walk.

Kendall Veach took the loss, but did manage a pair of strikeouts.

Gabryelle Dunning, Lyndsey Patton and Paullisha Crum each scored a pair of runs.

Margaret Mims, Denson, Karlynn Savage, Heather Bright and Amy Persinger also added a run.

For the Tabor squad, Mary Logan Kelly and Olivia Watts accounted for their offense.

This is the first year that the Selma Recreation Department has offered fastpitch softball as an option to girls under the age of 13-years-old.
