To the Editor:

The City of Selma has completed the first phase of the TRUSTBuild Program, which included identifying nuisances and potential code violations. Teams have performed neighborhood sweeps and have identified overgrown lots, abandoned and dilapidated houses, abandoned vehicles and other nuisances that negatively affect the quality of life for the citizens of Selma.

The City of Selma is now committed to moving forward to correct identified nuisances. Property owners, be advised that you will be billed for services rendered by city personnel that have been required to bring your property into compliance with city codes and ordinances.

Violations and nuisances must be corrected immediately to avoid further actions by the city.
