To the Editor:

There was a mistake in Mr. Hisel’s letter about the land the city was going to buy.

The price of the land is $8,500 an acre, not $8,000 an acre. I’m sure he wrote it right, but maybe it was misprinted.

Please put this in the letters to the editor to let the people know it was more than they thought it was.

This land deal is all wrong. We have no money, except for social programs, which does not satisfy basic human need.

When are we going to demand that the people who lead us lead us in the right direction?

I am black and proud, but very tired of nothing being done in our city that helps everyone, not just a few.
