Sickia Bowen, 20, of Selma was

arrested and charged with robbery first degree in connection with the March 20 robbery of a 19-year-old male victim.

The victim reported to police that he was stopped at a red light in the area of Woodrow Avenue and Summerfield Road, when an unknown male walked up to his car with a pistol and demanded money.

Cash and a cell phone were taken from the victim and the suspect jumped into a vehicle and fled the area. Investigators recovered a pistol and the vehicle and Bowen was taken into custody on March 23 at approximately 3 p.m., according to the police report.

Bowen was booked, processed and taken to the Dallas County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
