Cancellation of ‘Battle’ censorship

To the Editor:
Those who cancelled the reenactment of “The Battle of Selma” should be more than ashamed of themselves.
I have been told it was excellent by a friend who attended.
It is a part of the true history of their area, which nothing can change!
Who are they to censor history?
They certainly do not have that right!
These people do not respect nor tolerate anyone who differs in their beliefs.
That is not freedom! They obviously demand that everyone respect them.
When they learn respect for others, others will respect them.
Their opinions are certainly one-sided. I would think these folks would know better.
