Mr. Scott Finch, age 88, of Jefferson, Alabama passed away on March 1, 2006 at Baptist-Montclair Medical Center in Birmingham, Alabama.

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2006 at 1:00 p.m. at First Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Jefferson, Alabama with Rev. Edmond Charleston officiating. Interment will follow in the Jefferson Cemetery in Jefferson, Alabama.

Remains will lie in state at the church on Thursday beginning at 12:00 noon.

Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama are entrusted with the arrangements.

Linda Watts Smith

Linda Watts Smith, age 38, of Dallas County died on March 5, 2006.

Funeral services will be held on March 9, 2006 at 12:00 noon at Zion MP with J. D. Falls officiating. Burial will follow in Dr. Henry Cemetery with Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Survivors include her husband, Willie Washington, two sons, Isaac Watts of Selma and Jereme Smith; one daughter, Tyi Quandayia Smith; one brother, William Watts; two sisters, Andrae Watts and Renae Watts of Selma; one nephew and three nieces.
