Harold Lloyd Murray

Harold Lloyd Murray, age 64, died Thursday, February 2, 2006 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 5, 2006 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Bob Frazer officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing.

Mr. Murray is survived by his son, Allen Lloyd (Susan Williams) Murray of Selma; daughter Cheryl Lynn Murray (Cliff) Adams of Magnolia Springs, AL; grandchildren, Jenna Allyn Murray, Chelsa Lynn Merchant, Hannah Alysn Murray and Abbie Alyse Adams; brothers, Carl Guy (Annette Champion) Murray of Pine Hill, AL and Ralph (Gloria Edith Ham) Murray of Selma; sister, Ann Murray (Roy Dewitt) Lyle of Orlando, FL; sisters-in-law, Pearl Woods Murray and Juanita Sullivan Murray of Bay Minette, AL; and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Pearl Henry Murray and Emma Coon Murray; brothers, Charles, James and Johnnie Murray; sisters, Bertha Murray Teal and Doris Murray Wilson; and sister-in-law, Ressie Bee Murray.

Family visitation will be Sunday from 1:15 – 2:15 p.m. at Lawrence Funeral Home.

Kathleen Williams Tucker

Kathleen Williams Tucker, 75, of Gardendale, AL (formerly of Heiberger, AL) died Friday, February 3, 2006.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, February 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Joe Prickette presiding. Kirk Funeral Homes Marion Chapel directing.

The family will receive friends from 1 – 2 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church before the graveside services.

Survivors include one son, Don Ed Tucker (Carol) of Gardendale, AL; one daughter, Beatrice Rowland (John) of Montevallo, AL; two granddaughters, Cathy Brown (Max) of Alabaster, AL and Katie Crommelin (Charles) of Birmingham, AL; five great grandchildren, Tucker, Beth Ann, and Cody Brown of Alabaster, AL and Charles and Richard Crommelin of Birmingham, AL; one brother, Arthur Williams (Carolyn) of Brent; and three sisters, Margie Scroggins of Brent, Hazel Avery of Tuscaloosa and Lila Williams of Houston, TX.

Pallbearers will be Ronnie Williams, Wayne Smithson, Dusten Green, Tom Green, Clyde Green, Earl Wayne Green and Britt Carden.

Mary E. Hawkins

Mary E. Hawkins, age 86 of Demopolis, Alabama passed January 31, 2006 at Alliance Community Hospital, Alliance, Ohio. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 6, 2006 at 1 p.m. at the Pine Grove Baptist Church, Rangeline Road, Linden, Alabama. Rev. Alfred Hudson, Eulogist. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.
