To the Editor:

John, Bill, and Jean Bruce wish to acknowledge the professional and compassionate care Sarah Bruce received while in the Park Place Nursing Center. We also wish to express our gratitude to the people of Selma.

Sarah died Jan. 10, 2006. Sarah’s late husband, James, used to say, “Sarah’s integrity defines her.” The care given to Sarah helped her keep her integrity intact and made her health management away from home endurable.

Sarah’s caregivers used common sense, science, and technology to give peace, comfort, rehabilitation, and attentive concern to Sarah; they successfully accomplished this through their, knowledgeable professionalism, character, and genuine values.

Sarah loved Selma. Sarah appreciated the kind consideration from her church, friends, and family. Sarah found joy because of the courtesy, spiritual guidance, and love she received and gave. Our heartfelt thanks go to those who cared about Sarah.
