Eric Sullivan and Lorenzo Jones each had 15 points to lead the R.C. Hatch Bobcats to a 104-45 win over A.L. Johnson Thursday.

The game was part of the R.C. Hatch Holiday Tournament.

The Bobcats are 16-2 for the season and are ranked No. 4 in the state. They face Wilcox County today at 7:30 p.m. in the championship game.

Other top scorers in Thursday’s game were DeMarcus Porter with 14 points, Samuel Brown, 11 points, Calvin Pope, 10 points and Antwain Starks with 9 points. Top rebounders were Hugh Turner with 10 rebounds, Pope with six rebounds, Starks with six, Jones with five rebounds and Porter, four.

“They’re playing extremely well,” Coach Homer Davis said. “They’re really coming together as a unit and peaking at the right time.”

Davis said the team has played the last three games without their leading scorer – Frankie Sullivan, who averages 23 points a game. Sullivan is out with a twisted knee and his ability to play in today’s game is “questionable.”

“All the players are really stepping up for him,” Davis said. “They’re playing hard. We’re really proud of them.”
