Ronnie Claye “Bubba” Hopkins, age 55, of Selma passed away December 3, 2005.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Selma Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Rod Rochester and Rev. Robert Taylor officiating and Selma Funeral Home directing.

Interment will be in New Live Oak Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 6, 2005, 6-8:00 p.m. at Selma Funeral Home.

He is survived by his wife, Rita Johnson Hopkins, of Selma, AL; mother, Willodean (Buck) Newsome of Selma, AL; one son, Charles (Gina) Rowlett of Selma, AL; one daughter, Veronica (Chris) Friday of Selma, AL; one sister, Jan (Mike) Styron of Robertsdale, AL; 2 step-sisters, Margie (Steve) Nichols of Trussville, AL; Peggy (Guy) Polley of Melbourne, FL; a special aunt, Lorine Smith of Montgomery, AL; five grandchildren, Lauren Seago, Brooke Seago, Taylor Rowlett, Claye Hopkins and Ashlyn Friday and three special friends, Donnie Vasser, Jimmy Wade and John Bell all of Selma, AL.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Vasser, Jimmy Wade, John Bell, Chad Everidge, Tate Bowden and Ronnie Lipham, Jr.

Honorary pallbearers will be Melvin Johnson and Chris Friday.

Ronnie was a long time employee of Cosby Ice Company.

Miriam Ann Alexander McMillan

Miriam Ann Alexander McMillan, 75, died Friday,

December 2, 2005 in a Mobile hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday,

December 5, 2005 at New Live Oak Cemetery with Rev. Tim Stewart officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Family visitation will be Sunday,

December 4, 2005 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral

Home.

Survivors include two sons, Jimmy and Randall McMillan, a daughter, Susan Sutton, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, Larry Alexander, and a sister Yvonne Ulrey.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the March of Dimes.
