Selma High varsity boys improved to 1-2 on the year while the girls improved to 3-2 following a pair of victories over regional foe, Robert E. Lee High School of Montgomery Friday night.

Quin Pernell’s 22 points led the Saints. Cameron Turner had 15 points and Dre Benjamin added a double-double of 12 points and 12 rebounds. In the earlier game, the Lady Saints were able to sneak by the Lady Generals 89-18. Erica Lumpkin led the SHS charge with a double-double,

19 points and 17 rebounds.

Kemeisha Strong added 16 points. Shemeika Simpson added 12 points, Tiffany Anderson added 11 points and LaTesha Witherspoon and Martina West both finished the night with eight points.
