Lynda Lee Rogers Swindle

Lynda Lee Rogers Swindle died November 30, 2005, in her home in Cottondale.

Services will be Saturday 1:00 p.m. at Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church with the Reverends Bill Wilson and Jimmy Hughes officiating.

Mrs. Swindle’s body will lie in state for one hour prior to the service.

Burial will be in Tuscaloosa

Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Andrews Chapel United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, the Haygood Methodist Church Cemetery Fund or the El Bethel-Buncom Cemetery Fund.

Ethel Lee Moorer

Ethel Lee Moorer, 62, of Miami, Florida died November 26, 2005.

Services are scheduled for December 3, 2005 at Old Bethel Baptist Church with Rev. Larry Blake officiating the service. Burial will follow at The Mount Cemetery. Lewis Brothers Funeral Home directing.

Richard Browder

Richard Browder, 64, of Valley Grande died December 1, 2005.

Services will be announced at a later date by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Madam Ann Alexander McMiIlan

Mariam Ann Alexander McMilIan 75, died Friday December 2 2005 in a Mobile hospital. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 5 zoos at New Uve Oak Cemetery with Rev. Alan Yarbrouh officiating and Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home directing. Family visitation will be Sunday December 4 2005 at Lawrence Brown-Service Funeral Home Survivors include two sons, jimmy and Randall McMillan, a daughter, Susan Sutton, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, brother, Larry Alexander, and a sister Yvonne Ulrey. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the March of Dimes.

Fred Gilliam

Fred Gilliam, 80, of Prattville, Alabama died November 27, 2005 at a local hospital.

Services are scheduled for December 5, 2005 at 3:00p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. John Clay officiating the service. Burial will follow at Friendship Cemetery. Directed by Lewis Brothers Funeral Home.

Charles Daniels

Mr. Charles Daniels age 68 of Demopolis, Alabama passed November 30, 2005 at his residence. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 5, 2005 at 1:00 P.M. at the Christian Chapel Baptist Church, Demopolis, Alabama. Rev. Fred Moore, Eulogist. Interment will follow in Memorial Cemetery, Demopolis, Alabama. The remains will repose at the church on Monday beginning at 12:00 Noon. Larkin & Scott Funeral Directors of Demopolis, Alabama entrusted with arrangements.

Michael Evans

ATLANTA (AP) &045; Photojournalist Michael Evans, who captured an iconic image of a grinning Ronald Reagan wearing a worn cowboy hat, died Thursday at his Atlanta home after a four-year battle with cancer, the National Press Photographers Association said. He was 61.

Evans was still in his teens when he began his career in 1959 at the Port Hope Evening Guide in Ontario, earning $2 a photo to cover high school football games. He later worked for the Cleveland Plain Dealer, The New York Times and Time magazine.
